Garner ideas that have worked for other coaches to expand their business. Plus learn links and understanding of ways to expand your knowledge base as a coach and earn 1.5 Resource Development CCEUs.

About Our Presenter:                                                

Sara Smith, MCC, CPCC, CEO of Smith Leadership is a coach, mentor and leadership trainer.   Sara spent nearly 30 years with IBM and as part of the company’s global transformation team she became an executive coach and transformational consultant.  Since retiring from IBM she works with business executives, athletic coaches and as a mentor for coaches working toward becoming credentialed.   She delights in being in “ah-ha” business.

Sara has been involved in the ICF since 2001 where her passion for the coaching profession led to her to be active in the evolution of the ICF.  She has served as an assessor in the credentialing program, co-leader of the ICF Southeast Region and now serves on the ICF Global Board of Directors.

Sara earned degrees from Texas Christian University and is a Master Certified Coach (MCC).  She is a Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute and a graduate of the Teleos Leadership Executive Coaching program.  Sara was an adjunct professor in the SMU, Cox School of Business MBA program and teaches the fundamentals of emotionally intelligence for doctoral students at two seminaries. She is the author of Coach to Coach – Emotional Intelligence and Leadership for Winning Coaches

Sara fills her free time playing with Jake, a rescued Greyhound, enjoying outdoor activities with husband, Paul and playing the Native American flute.
