Hina Pitroda Jorgensen, MA, NBC-HWC | I am a certified holistic health coach and a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. Since moving back to Chicago from Singapore, I have created Bloom&Belong to support women in becoming resilient and balanced. I believe that you are the foundation you must make whole and strengthen so you can connect to the outside world with honesty and authenticity. When you operate from your true self, everything you do has a special lightness, serenity, and confidence. This authenticity supports your health and happiness. On this journey, compassion for oneself is what fills your cup, so you can give to others with kindness. Giving and sharing foster the connections that are essential to whole health and wellness. I find that this support is especially important for mothers-to-be and mothers, who are raising the next generation of human beings who will go out and impact the world. Mothering is full of constant changes and shifts, which can bring doubt, fear, overwhelm, and other stressors that women are conditioned not to express. We can do it all, all the time, for everyone! However, unacknowledged negative stress can lead to disease and ill health. Women/mothers need to be supported, seen, heard, and validated so they can be their own versions of a thriving mom. Because kids learn not from what you say, but your actions, and how you treat yourself. |
