Bio for Dr. Álvarez Mangual A passionate leader, Melissa Álvarez Mangual, Ed.D. has been truly committed to establishing data-informed, successful, sustainable initiatives that effectively take organizational programs to the next level. Melissa is devoted to working with leaders in organizations who are ready and willing to dig deep in order to shift their mindsets, adopt positive habits, and demonstrate practices that will allow them to be more inclusive and equitable leaders, active champions for diversity, equity and inclusion, and agents for change. Through coaching, Melissa has been able to successfully encourage dedicated individuals to take their personal and professional growth into their own hands. She has earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, MA; a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from DePaul University, Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from Florida State University. She is also part of the first global cohort of The PowerMBA, committed to staying up-to-date on the best disruptive innovation practices in business. Active service and involvement in professional organizations is a priority for Melissa, and something she is incredibly proud of. Melissa is based in Chicago, IL in the United States of America.
