Elizabeth-Anne Elizabeth Stewart, PhD, BCC, PCC, PCC | LIFE COACHING/ COACHING EDUCATION / COACH MENTORING / WRITING COACHING Coaching Highlights An ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Board-Certified Coach (BCC) with over 30 years' experience offering inner guidance, I launched The Ministry Coaching Foundation in 2023 to provide ongoing education and personal enrichment to life coaches, spiritual seekers, and anyone involved in offering inner guidance. My signature course, Transformational Coaching, has been awarded 40 ICF CCEU's; I am presently accepting applications for February 2026, having already graduated three cohorts of happy students. Before this, I served as Director of Education for ThrivingTogether, The Catholic Theological Union's ICF-certified Level One ministerial life coach training program-- sadly, no longer funded. I have taught at The Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT) since 2012; classes include Narrative Coaching, The Art of Sacred Listening, Creating Sacred Context, and Imagery and Spiritual Awakening. An ICF Assessor, I also serve as a mentor coach for new coaches and those seeking an ICF credential. Since 2019, I have had the privilege of serving as a Facilitator for Coaching.com (formerly WBECS) and have hosted a number of Round Tables for the global coaching community on such topics as "Writing a Coaching Book that People Actually Want to Read!" and "Venturing Beyond our Comfort Zones in a VUCA World." In September 2023, Coaching.com showcased my presentation, "Unlocking Epiphany Moments in Coaching"; last December, I co-presented "The Coach-Approach to Shadow Work" with Peter Metzner on Coaching.com's Coach Showcase. We had presented on the same topic at the 2024 ICF Regional Conference in Ohio. My most recent book -- Unlocking Epiphany Moments: A Primer for Life Coaches & Other Inner Guides-- has just been released by Collective Ink, U.K., 2025. Over the last year, I also had the privilege of serving as a content contributor to ICF's CoachBock project, a resource for the global coaching community. My Story in a Nutshell Born in England and raised both in England and on the tiny Mediterranean island of Malta, I have always been a leader with multiple interests, inexhaustible energy, and a delight in creativity. I love people and especially enjoy the roles of teacher and guide; nothing pleases me more than to be the midwife of an "Ah-Ha" moment, a catalyst for meaningful change, for growth in awareness, and for opening up a universe of possibilities! In summary, I coach clients to stretch beyond limitations and embrace the possible, accessing the extraordinary capacities within; I also serve as a Writing Coach, working with clients both in-person and remotely. Coaching and Imagery One of my specialties is working with imagery both in coaching and in healing contexts; Decades ago, I developed a process of dialoguing with the unconscious that I named Image Guidance, subsequently publishing two books on the topic with Paulist Press, and, more recently self-publishing a book on imagery and its coaching applications --Mind-Shifting Imagery: Image Guidance for Life Coaches. My new interests include Shadow work and Epiphany Moments. The author of thirteen books and many articles, I am a member of ICF (The International Coach Federation) and SDI (Spiritual Directors International), I am on faculty at the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT) and also teach professional writing and creative writing at St. Xavier University. Trained as a Spiritual Director at the Claret Center, Chicago, I hold the BCC, PCC, a PhD in Theology (University of Malta), a Doctor of Ministry in Poetry (Graduate Theological Foundation), a B.A. in English (University of Malta), and an M.A. in English (DePaul University). My Professional Interests Over the years, my range of business ventures has included life coaching, spiritual direction, writing coaching, public speaking coaching, relationship coaching, healing with the imagination, photography, wedding officiating, motivational seminars, and teaching Argentine Tango! Each of these seemingly unrelated activities demands full active listening, mindfulness, responsive presence, and positive regard for the client; the breadth and depth of these interests require flexibility, creativity, and ongoing learning— all invaluable skills for any coach!
